Boston Branch NAACP sponsors float in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

Members of the group are joined by members of the Catholic Interracial Council, who march behind a banner that reads: Beidh an buadh ‘inn” (“We Shall Overcome”). According to the Boston Globe, marchers are spat on and insulted by some by some in the crowd along the parade route.
